A 27-week accredited module (Level 6 or 7, 30 credits with King’s College London) introducing and developing the role of the anaesthetic nurse. The course blends theory, simulation, and practice-based learning to build specialist knowledge, skills and confidence in anaesthetic care.

The day includes updates on DAS guidelines, human factors in anaesthetic practice, case-based learning, and hands-on workshops covering video laryngoscopy, fibreoptic intubation, FONA, supraglottic device techniques, and high-flow nasal oxygenation.
